On the drive back up to SLC I stopped at Bryce Canyon for a morning hike. The place is stunningly beautiful, especially with a bit of snow left on the higher shelves. I really enjoyed my time there. It was mid-week, early in the season and cold so we had the canyon mostly to ourselves for the whole hike. Not the crowded, tourist ridden horror show that it would be in just a few weeks.
