Hyperlite Mountain Gear Unbound 40/55
29.6 oz | $369
30.2 oz | $399
The HMG Unbound is full-size, minimalist, ultralight, waterproof, durable, and comes with a massive suite of external storage for all of your snacks, water, and day gear. The upsized pockets make this thru-hiking-inspired design an overall upgrade to Hyperlite’s base models, the Southwest, Windrider, and Junction, albeit not strictly better. The 55L is a better and more versatile pick for most people. Read more in our full-length Hyperlite Mountain Gear Unbound Backpack Review.
Hyperlite Mountain Gear Waypoint 35
23.5 oz | $359
The Hyperlite Mountain Gear Waypoint 35 is an ultralight fastpack made with waterproof Dyneema and an internal frame for load transfer. The entire package weighs just 23.5 oz and comes with all of the right features. It’s perfect for short backpacking trips or carrying a fully dialed-in UL kit. Read more in our Waypoint 35 Review.
Hyperlite Mountain Gear Elevate 22
17.9 oz | $249
The Elevate 22 is an ultralight daypack that is basically a slimmed down version of HMG’s iconic backpacking pack design. This includes its Dyneema construction, roll top closure, and full suite of external storage. We love this design and find it be extremely functional and well-thought out; though the front mesh pocket could be a bit bigger. Read more in our Hyperlite Mountain Gear Elevate 22 Review.
Hyperlite Mountain Gear Daybreak 17
19.0 oz | $229
Unlike HMG’s other models, Daybreak 17 is designed as a hiking/everyday carry crossover pack. Its Dyneema body is as durable and waterproof as all of the rest, but the clamshell zipper makes access to gear easier at the expense of less water ingress protection and a shorter lifespan. We’ve used it for travel, commuting, errands, and many a hike. This pack is as functional and versatile as it is high quality and elegant to behold. Read more in our Daybreak 17 review.
Hyperlite Mountain Gear Unbound 2
22 oz | $699
The HMG Unbound 2P is a top-of-the-line, trekking-pole-supported Dyneema ultralight tent designed for thru-hiking and long distance backpacking. Unbound immediately evokes similarities to the beloved Zpacks Duplex series, only it comes with a suite of upgrades including zippers, magnetic door toggles, vents, reinforced guyout points, and a slightly wider footprint.
Hyperlite Mountain Gear Mid-1
16.8 oz | $599
The HMG Mid 1 is an ultralight, single-wall, single-pole pyramid tent with a bevy of great features, including the large floor plan, large vestibule, Dyneema fabric, magnetic door closure, and full bug mesh canopy. The 21 ft² floor plan is sizable, and the 54″ peak ceiling is taller than average. Learn more in our full-length Hyperlite Mountain Gear Mid 1 Review.
Hyperlite Mountain Gear 20 Degree Quilt
20.1 oz | $499
Our first sleep system with 1000 fill power down, the Hyperlite Mountain Gear 20 Degree Quilt is unmatched when it comes to materials performance. And weighing only 20.1 oz, it has an incredible warmth-to-weight ratio. This model is in a 4-way tie for the best-in-class quilt award. Read more in our full length HMG 20 Degree Quilt Review.
Hyperlite Mountain Gear Versa
4.3 oz | $79
Choose the Hyperlite Mountain Gear Versa for a full size, 2.5L, Dyneema hiking fanny pack, which sits at the large end of the volume sweet spot range. This model fits all your essentials and then some, and keeps them dry and protected. Inside the Versa’s main compartment is a mesh storage security pocket. A front external pocket holds extras like lip balm, and a bonus drop-in pocket sits on the backside for frequently accessed items. Read more in our full-length Hyperlite Mountain Gear Versa Review.
Hyperlite Mountain Gear Roll-Top Stuff Sack
1.6 oz | $69
The HMG Roll-Top Stuff Sack in the 25L size capacity is our preferred workhorse dry bag for backpacking quilts and sleeping bag storage. The DCF11 construction is super durable and waterproof, and HMG has paid every attention to detail. The 25L volume is likely a bit overkill for summer, but only weighs .4 oz more than the 10L model, and easily flexes into the colder months without requiring you to buy a larger dry bag to store a 0 degree sleeping bag. If you’re going to splurge on a Dyneema dry bag, choose this one, at this size, because you can use it all year long for many years to come without ever over-compressing your down.
Hyperlite Mountain Gear Stuff Sack Pillow
1.7 oz | $59
We love the Hyperlite Mountain Gear Stuff Sack Pillow for dry gear storage and improving quality of sleep. A great 2-for-1 and an ideal piece of ultralight backpacking gear. It’s constructed with waterproof durable Dyneema, zipper access, and a reversible fleece interior lining for pillow-mode. It gives a lot of utility for 1.7 ounces, and many feel that it is comfier than an inflatable.
