Gossamer Gear’s “The Two” is an extremely popular trekking pole tent. It’s single-walled design makes pitching easy, and there is a generous amount of livable space. Though the single-walled design can cause condensation issues, there are plenty of ventilation options and good campsite selection can help with both this and its high wind profile. Also, for weighing in at just under 1.5 pounds, this is a fairly reasonable price. For even lighter options, Gossamer Gear also has a DCF version of The Two.
BEST FOR: Backpackers who want a lightweight option on the cheaper end of the spectrum, as far as ultralight tents go.
