Our product assessments are based on our own independent opinions, testing, and research. We do not represent the brands we work with. We do not recommend products we wouldn’t use. You cannot purchase your way into our gear lists or buyer’s guides. Read more about our gear philosophy here.

We acknowledge the existence of a financial incentive to promote our affiliate partners. We are aware of this bias, and strive to write from as neutral of a perspective as possible. Though we try our best, the existence of our affiliate relationships means we cannot be perfectly unbiased, nor 100% neutral.

Many of the products we review and recommend have been purchased with our own funds, while many others were provided to us for testing by our affiliate partners. If we receive a complimentary product that we dislike, we would simply move on without reviewing it.
