The Stio PTV Joggers are constructed with high performance, “Relance™ Primeflex™, Mechanical Stretch Plainweave, 100% Polyester, 50 denier, 94 g/m2 with DWR Finish”. This is a pretty dang nice fabric and the reason these joggers are so expensive. Relance delivers mechanical stretch, rather than stretch derived from elastanes like Spandex. Spandex blends have a slower dry time, so polyesters with mechanical stretch usually outperform them in humid climates. The fabric has a soft and smooth hand feel, and is finished with a DWR treatment, which resists light precip and further speeds up dry time.

The pair of mesh-lined trouser cut hand pockets are of average depth and security of hold. The lack of zippered closure keeps these pants back from greatness, as the pockets cannot be relied upon to store valuables and essentials during bouts of large movement. Fine for everyday use, but avoid them for serious adventure when a lost phone could spell doom. A zippered rear pocket is present and is large enough to hold a wallet, but too small for a phone, not that you would want to store it there anyway.

The wide elastic waistband is comfy and can be further secured with an extra long external static drawstring. Generally a bit more stretch is appreciated, but these ceratinly stay up. Jogger-style elastic cuffs at the hem add accuracy to every footfall. The fit is quite standard for a jogger, with a standard short inseam.
